I think that dispite the fact the toons are adults, they are made to learn lessons, so they have an almost childish side to them the can never fully understand a lesson or heavy topics

It keeps them in a more episodic tv show

So they could learn the same lesson again and again but it'll never fully register or manifest in their mind

Being left alone, they are left to handle emotions they have no idea what to do with

They weren't built to understand what's wrong with them, they can't register what is going on in their minds

That's what handlers were for, to help them, or at least to distract them from their issues

But without them their unresolved and unchecked issues build up until they become twisted

I also imagine they have a somewhat childish nature that allows them to better interact with the kids. They can freely play childish games like tag, hide and seek, etc. without feeling "Awkward" about it like most adults would.

Like, it will BE OKAY!!! I know this situation is scary and frustrating, but what Qwel is doing right now, ignoring the allegations and refusing to answer people’s questions, is honestly a terrible business decision. It’s not going to make everything magically disappear.

And you know what will probably happen? People will (or already are) boycott the game, and that will affect its success. If Dandy’s World starts losing money, other companies or studios could look at it and think, “This game had a huge audience before. If we buy it and improve it, we could make it successful again.” Companies buy struggling properties all the time.

And if Qwel is willing to send cease and desist letters to people speaking out, that doesn’t mean she’s untouchable. Other people can defend themselves legally too. There are consequences if someone tries to silence people instead of addressing serious issues.

The people working with her matter too. Animators, 3D modelers, artists, and other workers may see former employees speaking out and decide they don’t want to be involved anymore. Collaborators like Care Bears could look at the controversy and decide it’s not worth continuing a partnership. Companies like Scholastic, CultureFly, and other kid-focused brands have reputations to protect, they aren’t going to want to stay attached to a project surrounded by controversy if it starts hurting them.

Whether Qwel ignores the situation or deletes the game, neither option magically fixes the damage. The worst-case scenario people are imagining is not the only possibility. A lot of things can happen, and there are still people holding the creators accountable.

It’s understandable to be scared, but don’t assume the absolute worst outcome is guaranteed. Dandy’s World’s future depends on the choices made from here, and ignoring everything isn’t a strategy that usually works.

I'm not really sure how official this is.

The (Unverified) review from D.D clearly came first, with the second one from Delilah (Which is verified) coming 16 days later.

And then there's a whole other (Unverified) Delilah review that came 29 days after D.D's.

Unless CultureFly has been known to play around with their reviews before, it seems like people are just having fun roleplaying as the characters after seeing D.D's review.

But the first one being Unverified really brings me doubts into how official this may be.

sorry i need to be snippy for a second. i know delilah is not a kind person. she kinda sucks and is mean. but i need people to stop blaming her for things that are actually literally not her fault and like. seemingly reading her intentions to be actually so much more nefarious. the note about bassie read To Me as the kindest we’ve seen from delilah, and for once arthur being the one presented as not looking out for a toon’s best interest. but I’ve seen a dozen poeple claim “Oh delilah wants that basket Dead bc she’s too dependent”. and i literally just saw someone say delilah purposefully didn’t give blot a mouth so he couldn’t speak. not intended to be a doodle req you can take it as however you want have you ever thought of how scary it is to go through the process of twisted transformation and in general be twisted? aside from the horrors of your muscles and bone turning against itself just having to be conscious while going through hormonal swings from the 8th layer of hell sounds bad enough imagine having to be aware of your surroundings, living and breathing but being equivalent to a zombie on sterroids not only would you feel insanely sick to the brink of walking like one but your bottled, hidden away emotions and the twisted hormones suddenly become the main engine running your brain and it encourages you to harm others without a chance to have second thoughts and these are the things that happen if a toon like bobette and bassie reach their absolute breaking point just any time you're suddenly overwhelmed by an extreme amount of dread your own body and brain turn against you while some how managing to be aware of your surroundings even if a twisted could speak it wouldn't even help them in the long run the scarier part is there isn't really anything you can do you can't prevent yourself from doing these things it just happens without a second thought and to know this will happen to you for an indefinite amount of time if you lost your breaking point within the wimpy life of toon existence

I have thought about this it’s so so interesting!!! It has to be pretty horrifying, and definitely painful. Having your brain changed and not knowing what’s going on- I think the scariest part might actually be that I don’t think most Twisteds really realize what they’re doing. Bobette for example, we know from the The Perfect Christmas she doesn’t even know that she’s causing harm to her friends. Being Twisted is painful but also likely very very confusing. Bobette says her head hurts and everything is blurry. I also do think that more aware Twisted like Astro and Glisten have that sorta “aware but not able to control themselves” thing going on too though. I wonder which is scarier..anyway I agree with the stuff you said ☝️

That would be funny, but the "Turning Red" part is only there to represent the emotion-based transformations (In fact, I only came up with the direct correlation to better reference Shelly's Situation when she woke up transformed for the first time).

There's no magical sealing ritual 'nor is it fast & easy for a Toon twist/untwist (It's actually a slow & painful process).

Though the transformations in the AU can still be great for representing puberty & growing up.

Nah Poppy would fail to sleep for an entirely different reason… the ludicrous amount of a caffeine infused beverage she drinks daily. Like in her toon room alone we can see 2 bottles and 3 cans lying around, apparently this alone is a combined total of between 270 mg to 500 mg of caffeine. For context the average healthy human limit of caffeine is 400 mg a day, emphasis on HUMAN, toons seem to be like half the size so they probably have a much lower limit. Keep in mind there’s a non-zero chance that the amount in her room is the bare minimum she goes through in a day.

it’s a dang miracle Poppy’s little habit hasn’t ended up in a heart attack, maybe it’s a result of the weird details of toon biology we don’t know about… a mystery Delilah may have tried to solve for several years because what else explains how she’s seemingly healthy despite this.

I have no idea how Poppy survives either lmao. My best guess is that since Ichor is its own strange substance with odd and intriguing properties that it sorta..absorbs the pop..?? If that makes sense? Liek Poppy still gets a bit of the effects but it doesn’t kill her because the ichor shes made of takes the brunt of it and so she doesn’t get a heart attack or anything. And the pops in her room aren’t all drunk at the same time maybe..idk but yeah Delilah you should go figure that out lol

Counterthought: What if Poppy twisted because all the pop she drank eventually lead to her organs giving out. She died as nobody was around to help her at the time and turned into a twisted.
