To the bullies I had in Peru and the ones I never expected to have in the United States, yes, you broke me into pieces but I didn't stay broken because my low-income, immigrant, LGBTQ+, black, and brown communities were there to pick me up and affirm my right to exist and thrive. Bullies might want to define you, but you must always remember that you are worthy of social justice support and political empowerment.
