Working on sunflower week stuff, I allready have 6/7 rough sketches ready! I am going easier on sfweek this year than last year because I burnt myself out back then 😭 I want to focus more on the fun process part this year.

SWANFIRE APPRECIATION WEEK 2021 (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

It’s time to get ready for an other Swanfire Week!  ( The most anticipated time of the year!) This year I want to thanks Teresa ( @swanthief ) and Red ( @redbone135 ) for help me to put all the ideas together, without you I wouldn't have been able to post today ｡゜( ▰˘◡˘▰ )゜｡  Let’s celebrate our favorite OTP together. The event will run from August 2 to August 8, but if you can’t do it those days don’t worry. Our babies thieves will always wait for you 〆(・∀・✿)

Please use this week to celebrate Swanthive in any way you want to, whether it’s making gifs, graphics, mixes or fanvids, writing fic or meta, creating fanart, etc…

Swanfire Appreciation Week 2020 - Day 1

Quote/Lyric: “Okay listen, I know this seems bad, but I promise, it’s not what it looks like.”

Neal and Henry had only met a few months ago. Neal was new to the whole responsibility of being a father. But Emma knew he was trying best and making up for the eleven years that he missed out on. He had become a significant part of Henry’s life in a short span of time. 

It was the weekend that day, which meant Henry would spend the entire day with his dad. They would spend the time playing with swords (wooden, of course), talking, and watching films. It was Henry’s favorite part of the week. As for Emma, she would get some time off and could finish other chores around town. 

Emma reached home early from the Sheriff Station that evening. She hadn’t even taken her shoes off when she heard a knock on the door. She took off her jacket and walked to the door. When she opened it, her eyes widened in surprise. She had not expected to see Henry passed out on Neal’s shoulder as he held the little boy. 

“I promise, it’s not what it looks like”, Neal clarified. He could read her expressions. 

“What’d you do? Tranquilise him?” She asked. 

“Just gave him a couple of bourbons. Kid’s a real lightweight” Neal said as he made his way into the tiny apartment. 

Neal set Henry down on the couch and Emma covered him in his favorite quilt. Their son was fast asleep. Emma and Neal had some quiet time together for the first time. Neal talked to Emma about his day with Henry. Even though it had been 11 years since they’d seen each other, Emma and Neal could still feel the same level of comfort together.

Side note: This is my first time doing a swanfire week. I am excited! :)
