@aid-lombard ♥‘d for a starter
💚🍵💚⚪ : Halloween felt foreigner to the puella magi; she might have seen her classmate talking about it during recess, hearing their excitement at the variety of costumes available to them. To some extent, perhaps, Oriko envied them - her life was different from the carefree days other girls lived, Oriko’s days instead swamped in political posters and speaking to others as if she were an adult.
However.
She was still a young one, albeit more twisted and jaded than her fellow teenagers, so it’d be only natural that curiosity settled as Oriko witnessed the candies and the costumes and the strange creatures around here. Hopefully nothing like the horror that was Kriemhild Gretchen. She also would be lying if she said that costumes weren’t interesting - they were, certainly so, and while puella magis often had frilly costumes, their everyday lives were far from being flippery and satin. So she wore the dress, put on her makeup - casually done, making her look akin to a corpse. She looked at herself in the mirror, green eyes scanning her reflection, and she left her place.
( A corpse. She should be a corpse, by now, albeit brought back to life by strange methods. But what are puella magis if not empty, walking corpses, only kept alive by their soul gem ? )
This should be the moment in which she finds someone, shouldn’t it ?
