Had a great time at Art After Dark, a signature event of the Singapore Art Week. Held at Gillman Barracks, Singapore’s contemporary art enclave, Art After Dark featured new exhibitions, installations and live performances that challenged my perceptions of art. I particularly enjoyed LOCK ROUTE, an outdoor public art showcase of murals, sculptures and installations by Singaporean and international artists. I also got to try the curry by filmmaker-turned-chef Papacurry in collaboration with Chinese photography duo BIRDHEAD! Was glad to see so many people soaking in the atmosphere and participating in the outdoor festivities.
