"I miss being around—” Yifan sighs, reaching up to rub his forehead, “I’m really sorry darling, I’ve been busy with work.” He gives the other a small grin, cheeks flushing lightly and heart thumping with fondness, “…and you’re going to think I’m a jerk, but it’s kind of nice to know someone missed me.”

I've definitely noticed your favorite color is black. It suits you well! I like black as well, but I'm not encouraged to wear it very often and since I'm frequently told what to wear anyway, I don't get a lot of chances. But black makes someone look mysterious, I think. Favorite food though? Impossible to pick. I really like almost all food, though I think I had a weakness for noodles. And chicken! - sgc

"Does it make me look mysterious?” Yifan chuckles and raises his chin, looking down at the girl with a teasing glint in his dark eyes, “You get told what to wear— are you a model perhaps, or a singer? I like chicken too, and noodles, we should eat together sometimes. Do you like to read? What’s your favorite book?”

"Hey there!" His eyes visibly light up at the sight of his precious friend. "Thank you, darling. I was busy with work, as per usual, but I missed seeing your pretty face." Yifan's lips pull up in a teasing smile, "--Even though those sunglasses are kind of in the way."

"Hmm, that means I should ask you general things first." Yifan hums and brings a hand to his chin, gaze shifting from place to place as he tries to come up with a decent question. "There’s quite a bit I would like to know, actually— what’s your favorite color?"

There are lots of things to admire though. You sell yourself too short! I know I've only seen you from what you've shown in public, but I honestly think that you're someone with a caring heart. Ah, I sound strange now, I'm sorry. I hope that I can make you smile a whole lot more though, especially since your smile is definitely one of your more admirable things! - sgc

"Ah, seriously--" He looks away and covers his grin with a hand-- because even though he's being praised for it, Yifan is still a bit insecure when it comes to his gummy smile. "Don't apologize, you make my days better, darling. I hope I don't disappoint you, though." He clears his throat and licks his lips, trying to regain his composure even though the hint of a smile still lingers on his face, "But enough about me-- tell me something about yourself. I want to know more about the pretty thing who leaves cute messages at my locker."
