he’s really not doing anything special if he’s honest, just looking for someone to eat lunch with because apparently none of his hyungs were free or around right now. how was it possible that not a single one of his hyungs was there? it’s unfair. he just wanted to eat with someone so he didn’t look like a lonely freshman. because he’s not one! he has friends! but none of them are here either! why does the universe hate him?
there’s a small pout on his lips even as he resolves to just find some classmates and sit with them. he’s a big boy! he doesn’t need to sit with his hyungs! he’s capable of eating by himself if he has to! he’s an independent adult who doesn’t need no man! or woman! or anyone!

honestly, he’s about to give up and just go back to his dorm and eat with phantom (his cat) because at least his cat can’t say no and won’t be busy with a significant other and will eat with him, if he brings her food, but then he catches sight of yideun stepping into the cafeteria. he’s quick to land his target, running over to the older happily and popping up beside him—after checking to see if the keychain he had gotten the older was still on his bag or not, and confirming that it indeed was still there—and nudging him.
“hyung!” he chirps happily, feeling relieved (more relieved than he would like to admit) to have found someone. “wanna eat lunch with me?”
