so, I'm back in the Holler again, this time on damyas run, and I gotta name her city, and I'm just gonna steal shifting rocks which I think I saw someone else use either that or something similar for their stp vessel runs

I'm just leaving her with she/her but I think she might be she/they sorta like how I am in that I'm probably some type of nonbinary I just haven't gotten around to find terms for it

anyways, traits, I had picked these a while ago, talk to animals cus cat girl, and hot because I wanted to see the trait save for it

so I just met tabby, and I've gotten two hot trait choices so far, and both are great, first was telling the bus man we'd never had anyone try to break up with us (why am I saying us? this is about damya...) which is 100% true either way, either she figured out she's aroace before getting into any actual relationships, or she was dating whoever this universes version of smitten is before realizing she's aroace and ending the relationship (wonder how that ended...)

and the other hot choice I've gotten so far is trying to make a good first impression with tabby, and the following dialogue has the quote ''the Winning Damya Smile. ™'' in one of the lines and I love that, it's simply a great quote

I somehow just noticed the camera overlay from when you record Stella has the date on it, Oct. 24 2022, honestly I've been wondering when the game took place so that's cool

I just realized, Stella had messaged me last night, she usually doesn't do that, I don't know if that's just cus I've become old or maybe it's a sign she likes me even more than normal

in the shower con thinks about the afterlife, not only for the reasons given (there now being terrifying evedince of the afterlife) but also because we're old now, and we'll be getting there much sooner then expected

we visited oscer, and since the ghost is gone we'll be able to look at the stone again

and also the corpse, kinda forgot that was there for a second, lol

and Rosa said cool, unclear if that's about the corpse or the carving but either way I agree

ok yeah Rosa is now showing her friend a pic of the corpse that cool was prob about the corpse

how did I only realize now that during the tea scean you can bring up the guys in ur fam and sybils mentioned not remembering the name of Edwardians husband which is probably talking about charals jr., ya know, the ghost I just gave up years of my life to?

also random thing I had just thought to do, see it I could find any info on the symbols, particularly the cat as its the most notable but couldn't find anything, and one of the things I found said the placement tells when the things happen which kinda contradicts the hour glass, so yeah it adds to my distrust

ok at the doctors I got a check up since I'm old now, apparently condi doesn't have health insurance

and I grabbed the medical docs in the clinic to check something, Alexandras mother is Edwardian, I'm not going to say why I care, just that I think it might come up later

and as for the romance option I picked, "I was hoping you'd ask, I'd love to", not because of how it fit con, but because of how it fit what I thought, the whole play thought, I was hoping she'd ask, because I'd love to, and also so I could doge spoilers for next chapter, lol

oh hey, Wayne's being cool, I don't know if that's a change, me miss remembering, or if he's mad at me, probably not the last one but who knows

ya know, I love how these devs describe kisses, the kiss with the thorn from stp, the kiss with Reese in the new chapter that actually reminded me of that shity diagram of the thorn kiss that the devs posted on Tumblr (I love that image btw), and the kiss with Stella that may or may not have gone further, it's kinda unclear tbh but I'm on the new chapter now, so I'll be back later

I decided to chat with Isaacs since the stuff he tells us gives us a better excuse to be ditching tabby then if we went straight to Stella's, but I will be hanging with her after

I got to Stella's house and just found out you can yell "hi Stella!" instead of knocking like a normal person and I think that's perfect for con

and I picked the toaster waffles cus I didn't think con would want to inconvenience Stella with making her cook something just for them

I think this might be the first time I got to mayor Jimmy without my character knowing he's a dog, maybe second? I don't remember if Kal knew

also I kinda wish the exchange was a bit longer, cus all I did was protect the peanuts (I have a bit I want to do), call him cute, then got sent out

ok so I've kinda been zoning out a bit while I play so I haven't been taking notes (cus I'm tired) so now we're near the end of the ghost, and going in I had already decided I was going to give up my years, con doesn't need another thing waying down their conchus, plus I'm not sure how long con really expected to live in the first place

and wyane is genuinely upset at us for doing this

at least the ghost is gone

why can't I say he was mad I gave away years of my life? why is it phrased as him being mad I got rid of the ghost? that's not the part he's mad at

sybils just blatantly lies in the chat you have while going home, I'm not going to spoil what about, but she just lies about something we learn in the new chapter

tabby was very mad but after we told her about the ghost taking our years of our life she calmed down a bit

also there was a kind of dirt like effect or something around the edge of the screen and apparently that permanent

sooo it's been months, I just haven't really played since December, and while I have played chapter 5 twice I decided to just leave those in the notes on my phone for now, but I'm back on the condi run, mostly because the one play though I had watched that's still on going had Stella with them, and that was what I planned to do with cons run

I had also attempted to continue this run before but didn't finish the chapter, and didn't even post the post, it's still in my drafts, but I decided to start fresh since it's been months

I had a lot of very cool things written that I don't want to rewrite so actually I might just post the old draft later, plus I'm kinda copying what I had done last time anyways

oh sybils theam is different, I forgot about that but it's cool, I like it

I got back to the mines and just noticed that when you're outside the mine the teens go into you can hear the whispering that plays around the stones

it's 4 pm on a Sunday but I wanna start cons run, named them condi, which I had mentioned they were the first voice I named in paras ep1 post, and I picked condi cus it was the most unusual option that still started with con, also they're gender fluid (and intersex) but the options are boy, girl, or they/them, so I picked they/them

I knew way before I started this run, possibly before I even got the game, that I was gonna pick street smarts and mystical, no real plans on what I'll use them for but thats just is con to me

I'm doing the boiled peanuts bit, cus its con they'll be doing silly shit like that, that's my main plan this run, picking stupid silly options, also side goal I wanna date Stella too cus I just think those two would be a good fit

I had googled the requirements to date Stella and one was having a good relationship with tabby and I've already messed that up (she does not like the dead moms club joke) but I'm still gonna try

picking the 'difficult roommate', cus con seams like someone who'd have a cat named truck, actually I just realized all of the runs except Kal and para have truck, so I'll have to just flip though the other options on a different run, anyways I also went with truck cus it was the best living situation and con probably makes a good amount of money

what does programmatic even mean? anyways cons a streamer, shoot what kind tho... cus except for cooking these all fit con and there's no 'whatever I feel like' option which I think con would actually do, I think the best fit would be games but that's an option I saw in one of the play throughs, so I think I'll go with art? saving tho

bro I did the full recap and the music ran out before the end of the first episodes recap, they really need to fix that cus it's so annoying

apparently para is aware that Wayne was in our closet, it was from keen eye we could tell cus he left residue but I don't remember if I got this in my other keen eye run

oh I get to see the scene where we meet the dog gang without talk to animals, turns out they just walk off lol

para is not trusting sybil anymore, but still followed her to see if we could get anything else out of her, nothing to relevant, just some backstory about Vivienne and some other bits of family history

'this is not the first corpse you've seen' as far as the game knows it is, para had probably seen some corpses before the game but it doesn't know that

wait... wait wait waitwaitwait... last run I had asked doctor Kelly who gave her the caster bean but it had gotten blocked by a strange effect I couldn't quite describe, it was a white flash and a bit of static, but this time it wasn't blocked, so either it getting blocked happened cus we drank sybil's tea last run... actually yeah that's what happened cus it happened in one of the play throughs I watched and they had mystical so it wasn't cus I didn't have mystical last run... sybil did drug us, I was right...

and that bodes horribly for my other runs... because most of them ended up or are going to end up drinking the tea, I know para and Kal haven't, but I don't remember if my oc run did and I'm not sure if my last run will, but the rest either have or will drink the tea

also what she just said didn't quite match with what was said last run that got cut off and I can't think of any in universe reason, weird

every time I hear doctor Kelly talking about her 'romantic sleep paralysis' the line "ma'am, ya fucked a dream demon" runs through my brain and I'm not sure why, but it's funny so I'm not gonna ask lol

I handed Kelly the tranquilizers but I had called tabby earlier and she came over with a gun and para does not have the guts to jump in front of someone with a gun

looks like we're burning the corpse... oh God he's not quite dead... hopefully he's at least unconscious for this... nope he's screaming... fuck I'm sorry Reese...

I'm gonna save here cus I don't have any other characters who'll get here, so if I wanna explore the dialogue it'll have to be from that save

I choose to say his suffering is over for now, I'll come back to this some other time, but not now, it's getting late

'while my son is burning in front of me' ma'am he stopped burning like 5 minutes ago, also uh, sorry about him burning to death. I feel like a horrible person.

ok the dialogue seams to be written under the impression that him burning continues for a while into the scene but it just doesn't last all that long

ok I went back and made an earlier save so I could check how long he burns but then he started burning again when I loaded the save I was on again before burning out again, the way the burning animation was done just seams kinda weird from what I can tell

chatting with Wayne now, in my room, I've been planing this since last run

yes I got the option to flirt with Wayne! one more non-flirt thing first tho, this is the only run were we haven't found Stella before this chat with Wayne, so we got two unique dialogue options, asking if Wayne did something to her or asking if he knows what happened to her, I'm going with the second option

'if we find her'? that's kinda ominous, she's fine tho, probably, hopefully... anyways time to flirt with Wayne!

I'm not sure which to pick... which kinda makes sense I've never flirted before, other than when Kal was flirting but that was just me picking all the options labeled flirt without actual thinking about it

but like actually this is kinda hard... uh... "I missed you today. wish you'd dropped in sooner" that's honestly probably true

daw he called himself a guardian angel!... why do I find a roting corpse of a man calling himself a guardian angel adorable?

flirting didn't cut off the dialogue but I don't have anything else I really wanna say so I guess para is gonna be ending the chat this time

man my para run has taken almost 3 pages of saves, also I think the music might be different then normal but I'm not sure... ok I just check the saves on my other runs, my oc run had the same music as para but the other two had the same song as each other. I have no idea why, didn't even know that could happen, but it's late and I've finished the chapter

the further into my repeated play thoughs I get the less stuff I can find to talk about, plus para is just kinda a quiet person

I hung out with tabby but I didn't really get anything new from that, I already went through most of the dialogue with topper and the following scene I had already scene in a play though

I met the Mayor without Gretchen there, but the only change was that she wasn't there to yell at the Mayor, we just got sent off so the line could keep moving

if you say doctor Kelly is looking out for Reese the top option is flirting with Reese, and the bottom is calling his mom hot, and I just find that humorous

oh you get a mystical option if you talk about Reese's art, "I feel the emotions you put into these..."

with mystical you can snap yourself out of being drawn to the door, it's done in the same way as resisting the narrator in stp too so that's a fun detail

I decided to talk about 'the danger' at dinner this time, ended up in a sorta argument about the dichlings being real but doctor Kelly didn't believe us, also the have you seen a dead body line is different since para hasn't seen one yet, well over the course of the game at least, I had decided para was a med student but I missed the dialogue were you get to establish being a student

I just noticed the bat plushie on Rosas nightstand, cute!
