Hi, I've been reading Sh since the beginning and I'm wondering what exactly Namjoon's sexuality is or if we'll ever get a sex scene with him and the reader? I've always been really confused about where they stand with each other. Thanks ♥️

i love this question, and i also don't know how much i want to spoil re: answering directly. beyond this, i'll talk kind of vaguely but do my best to answer. spoiler just in case <3

Namjoon's arc with YN has felt pretty clear to me since the beginning (as opposed to pretty much everything else in this damn series) Namjoon, almost like Yoongi, is someone who has always fit into YN's life without much question or effort. there's an unspoken comfort and ease, even when trying to find the perfect word--it suits the way both of them relate to one another and the world.

however, unlike Yoongi, Namjoon and YN are both people who have built up narratives about what should happen, or who they should be. while YN has used emotional detachment as a means of protecting herself, Namjoon has allowed himself to get caught up in overthinking what is expected--if something is known, he can better navigate it. if it's unknown, he freezes. again, a form of self protection. because of this, neither of them are sure of where the other stands.

regarding your question about if we'll ever get a scene with him and YN, yes. yes, 100%. i am too much of a namjoon fan to let this series go on without that. bits of it are already written, much of it is already planned but not written. one thing i did not take account of with an ot7 fic was just how much i would want to flesh out each arc. it's left me feeling like there are more long gaps between interactions than i would like, but i've written myself into a bit of a hole as i usually only write one full chapter at a time lol. but i promise: i will make sure each character gets their moment in the spotlight by the end of this journey.

Okay so after reading the new chapter there is one thing I’m slightly confused about and wanted to see if you could possibly clarify it for me. Why did Yoongi pull y/n away from hobi and joon after jk said he wanted to fuck tae? And then just like leave her? Lol maybe I need to reread it again but that part just had me a little lost 🙈 or maybe I’m just dumb idk 🤦🏼‍♀️😂😂
