Augustus had leaned against the fireplace and hid his face from the light coming in from the window as Jacob talked. He peeked through his fingers and huffed. "I do claim as much, but I left the writing inside of you last night," he said with a smirk. Having bedded Jacob last night, Augustus was mostly tired from walking back to his home and sleeping there. The elaborate bed sheets, the quietness of the house with only creaks and groans to fill the silence, was not to Augustus' liking. Plus he was sure Jacob appreciated that separation he maintained. "So, what is it you wished to talk about so early in the day?" Well, early for Augustus. It was only nine am, and most people had been working since dawn.
