Don’t Miss Make Up Store’s SHADE Collection Launch at ROBINSONS JEM!
Make Up Store’s SHADE has got to be one of the cutest limited edition lines for Fall. The glam-rock inspired collection is composed of pared down neutrals to create grungy smoky eyes, gleaming skin, and nude lips. All packaged in the coolest metallic silver packaging. (The collection should be available globally, so keep your eyes out online and at your local counters!)
The SHADE range comes in sleek silver with skull motif - and even the 4 limited edition cruelty-free brushes have a little skull on the ends. Too cute for words. The product that had us all gasping, however, were the Velvet Beam shimmer compacts. These are sparkling pressed powders that you dust all over your face, chest, arms, legs, wherever, for some subtle glitz and glam.
I don’t have the press products to swatch and do looks for you yet but keep an eye out of that coming soon.
The new Make Up Store packaging comes in square refillable containers with crocodile skin embossing on most of the powder products and concealers. The old rounded packages are slowly being phased out and replaced, and I have to applaud them because the new packaging is drop-dead gorgeous.
Many of the products (like the microshadows and hi-tec lighters) have also been reformulated to perform and feel better on the skin than before.
