Heard it was Mirror Monday, so here's the only Mirror in my clan. A shade touched skinless girl who poses as a healer, only to feed of the wounded's injuries and/or infect them.

This little girl is called Aura. She is shade-touched like Gradient, but instead of bouts of rage, she... just hears a soothing song she can’t help but hum along with. It keeps her mind so distracted it makes her appear to always be spacing out. Her behavior worries a lot of the older dragons since she could walk into danger without knowing it.

Some of the nearby Beastclans suggest removing her from the clan as she is most likely a threat. But Maphesto wants to study her behavior to see if it could lead to a controlling of the effects of being shade touched.

She had been caught singing the song she always hears once and it chilled the listeners to the bone.

Bogsneak vs. Shade

Hey, but what if the transformation into a Bogsneak would be like the ultimate resolution for shade touched dragons? Because it’s not actually a “natural” or “magical” breed change, but more forced? Or what if that made the Shade possession even stronger? Or what if a Bogsneak got repossessed after getting rid of the Shade?

I'm chipping away at my lore and I've hatched a couple babies from a father who's lore I got pretty excited about - it tells the story of a dragon, Aurelius, exalted to the Plaguebringer, only to fall in love and shirk his duties for his new mate. The plague took her and she perished, so he gave his soul to the Shade to bring her back.

His children carry the taint of the Shade of his father's mistakes.

This boy’s brother found his place in the world, but he still wanders in search of where he belongs.
