After her exchange with Louis, Riya was constantly on the lookout for him. He’d done quite the number on her heart, not exactly an insignificant thing for her. He made an impression and now she was seeking out him and her handkerchief. Although, she couldn’t have cared less about the piece of fabric. It was the man who vowed to keep it so close to his heart she sought. She donned her best dress, kept her hair down for once so the few curled tendrils framed her face, and she began her promenade.
The only problem was she hated promenading. She wouldn’t take a piss out of anyone who did enjoy it, but it wasn’t for her. But she put on an interested smile and took a peak at those who were doing such, hoping to catch a glimpse of the handsome merchant.
Just as she was trudging along, her eyes tracked a familiar head of hair and she perked up. It was him. Before she knew it, she found herself being pulled towards him. “Excuse me, Sir,” she piped up, playing up her playful demeanor. “It seems I’ve lost my handkerchief. Do you know if you’ve spotted it?”
