There’s no sound, but two arms wrap around his torso....Tightly hugging him while a soft giggle can be heard. It’s a little muffled thanks to her mask, but she can be heard.
“You deserve so much more....Who said you weren’t useful?”
Her hug is a little tighter at the question, her mask tilting off her face a bit revealing her smile...Yet her eyes are narrowed.
Kitty, say ‘nya!~’
“...I’m not one of Papa’s cats silly!”
The Shadow tilts her head for a moment before-
“Oh!”
Her hands move up and she tilts her head in the opposite direction.
“Meow meow meow nya~!”

Her mask is placed right over her face, but there’s a flash of anger and disgust before it’s set in place.
“Do we look like puppets on a stage? No. If anything....He should know better than playing that. Wasn’t he the one who didn’t want us to feel soooo hurt?”
Fake...Fakeness disgusts her....
“...I rather fall asleep and not wake up if that’s the case then...”
Joker couldn’t hold back those emotions anymore. The cracks on his mask was the last thing The Phantom Thieves remembered from their “strong” and “manly” leader such as Joker.
“Who am I!?” Joker yells to himself.
“Who are you, Akira or Ren? Joker or Trickster?” His shadow asked with a coy smirk on his face.
Joker held the his face in his hands, confused, annoyed, frustrated, the internal battle he was at with himself.. He was facing those emotions he was pushing away ever since he moved from his hometown to Tokyo.
“I can help you, my friend.” His shadow said as he held out his hand to offer Joker a help in need.
“All you have to do.. Is say the word. And this palace. Is yours..”
Working on a story about Akira having a palace! So I drew up some Shadow Akira designs!

Basically the gist is that after Okumira's Palace things go down hill and Akira starts to spiral. This story ties into my AU where Akira is the son of Persona 2 characters. As well it features a Phantom Thief Mishima because I wanted to play with the concept a bit more.

A quick yank....The mask was placed right over her upper face, a wide smile forming as she laughs loudly.
“Fake happiness? What are you talking about!?” She motions to the pavilion with another giggle, “Everything is so...Warm, peaceful. This is a safe place...Not just for me, but everyone. No one gets hurt here...Fake happiness? This isn’t fake at all!”
