Beauty and the Beast (Shadow the Hedgehog x Human Reader) - A Story Idea?

This is my very first fanfic post on here and I am nervous to say the least. I've been imagining and expanding on this idea for days, so I figured I'd share if with you guys. Let me know if you like the idea and would like to read the full story!

Shadow is captured by GUN, entrapped in one of their labs, where scientists are studying and examining his powers and capabilities.

Professor Gerald has been imprisoned for creating Shadow, who is believed to be a threat and a dangerous weapon.

Maria in this story is not dead, she got hurt and is hospitalized due to her weakened state. However, she is safe.

The main female lead, Violet, is enrolled in a three-month internship at the lab where Shadow is being held and studied. She feels captivated by him the moment she laid eyes on him and her heart softening the more she finds out about his story.

Most of her internship is spent at the lab, observing the scientists as they did various studies and tests on Shadow. She'd constantly find herself staring at him in awe, admiring his presence, memorizing his features.

Shadow, feeling the intense gaze directed towards him, glances towards her and their eyes meet for the first time. A surge of electricity and curiosity surges through their bodies at the eye contact.

Violet, being the compassionate person she is, hated the way Shadow is being treated. Something inside of her pushed her to get closer to the Hedgehog, something magnetic pulling her towards him.

One day, in an attempt to get closer to Shadow, she sneaks into the lab he's caged in during break time, bringing him food from the coffee section as she believed he wasn't being fed too well.

Day by day, those sneaky visits became a routine, in which she'd bring him new types of food to try, allowing him to trust her and open up to her.

The story progresses by their relationship evolving, becoming closer to each other, developing a strong bond and emotions both had never felt before. Violet wanting to help Shadow survive his fate, to perhaps reunite with Maria, and Shadow filling the void inside Violet's heart and life.

During their time together, Violet will read to Shadow the Beauty and the Beast story. It will kind of act as a way to foreshadow their relationship, with Shadow being the Beast and Violet being the Beauty.

Disclaimer: As you can see from the points above, major plot points in Shadow's story have been changed. Also, Shadow in this story will not be short, he'll be taller than Violet. I understand some people might feel uncomfortable with feelings evolving between a Human and a Mobian, so if you feel this way, I apologize in advance.
