Azriel: *chuckles* Sorry to bother, but we should get some sleep- we have an early mission.

Shadows: *whine and hide under Gwyn’s neck, nuzzling her*

Gwyn: *cuddles them, humming softly* They are helping me revise these texts for work. This is very important stuff. *nods in mock seriousness*

Azriel: *squints eyes* Is that smut-

Gwyn: nope.

Azriel: *smirks* Hmm. Have they been with you since earlier tonight?

Gwyn: *exchanges conspiratorial side look with the Shadows, teal eyes bright* We had Dusk Service. They wanted to hear the music.

Azriel: That explains the quiet. *smirks*

Gwyn: They can sleep here with me, if you don’t mind. *knowing smile* I know you can’t sleep without your favorite dagger… do you need your shadows, too?

Azriel: *narrows eyes* If they want to stay-

Shadows: *perk up, brushing Gwyn’s cheeks*

Gwyn: *laughs as they tickle her* Alright, then, let us get back to work. You should get your precious beauty sleep before your mission. *winks, turning back to her latest Sellyn Drake novel* Goodnight, Shadowsinger.

Shadows: *wave tail in goodbye, focused again on the book* close the door on your way out…

Azriel: *brows high with amusement*

I think it's weird that no one talks about xhunterbeatsx outright stealing closed species like lightdogs/shadowcats anymore. He got banned from a bunch of closed species so he's literally just stealing any species he gets banned from :/
