THE IDEA THAT LOUIS WOULD come all this way, cross an ocean to return to the city of his birth ( nearly 100 years after he'd left it ) to track down his maker, & finally finally find the courage to say all the things he should have told him a century ago, only to leave the moment after he'd said it — in the midst of a roaring hurricane no less — it's simply so ridiculous that he can't stop himself from laughing.

i have such a hard time picking just one or two so let me babble for a moment !! / @stanfordprepped ! one because I love Sam (obviously) and two because of how dynamic Jared plays him, I swear I find myself so easily distracted just reading any of the threads he’s got going. It just warms my heart when you can tell someone is putting love into their character. / @winchvsters ! In my mind brook has been there the entire time and is so so real to me. I appreciate that she is so real that Sam kind of jumps out any time she’s around either to bitch at her for something or be all brooding and protective. I’m obsessed with the characterization and how effortlessly she just is. / @fuckfate ! I love love love love the way you put so much care into gen and have continued to grow and develop them in different ways over the years. I’ve already tagged both above but Jared and Em are so fucking cool and extra sweet and everyone should flood them with love and appreciate them as much as possible! adding to that @smogflesh is easily one of my favorite people to talk to about like anything but especially character stories and etc. it’s always a beautiful thing when someone is open to collaborating. silver & madi - i guess this is my one and only canon ship for silver ? although honestly i am kinda ambivalent to it in the canon itself. i think there's a lot of potential in their relationship and i would love to explore it properly in depth one day with a writing partner i have chemistry with, but i don't find that their chemistry particularly jumps off of the screen actually in the show ? i Like what it does for silver's character but i'd need the right writing partner to elevate it to otp status tbh

silver & elizabeth ( @hangtherules ) - pirate king meets pirate king ? what more is there to say lmao. i haven't written them in a hot minute but i think these two just understand each other and the situations they're in better than anyone else and make for a really complementary pair.

silver & maxima ( @mercysought ) - i love two scheming schemers who scheme. i looove the broad strokes of mine and skells' plotting when it comes to how these two both develop so much over the course of our black sails verse, how they team up initially to try to leverage against flint but then wind up embroiled in his orbit and grow closer to one another as a result.

silver & max - this is my crackship lmao. before madi was introduced in s3 this was the main fandom theory: that max was silver's mysterious wife from treasure island and the two would escape nassau together and marry out of convenience. i'm super glad that didn't happen and that the story took a different turn ( particularly for max ), but i still love these two og schemers and social climbers very very much.

This one kind of reminds Balthazar of a rabbit that's not sure whether it wants to run, keel right over from stress, or fight itself bloody. It's kind of endearing.
