He turned to walk back into the palace, leading the boy to one of the cozy parlors. He tapped the door frame to alert his wife to the arrival of new company.

"Dearest, thisth ith Reizo Shadowfudge; one of the unlockable racersth. He wanted to come and meet you." he announced, scooting Reizo forward by the shoulders. "Reizo, thisth ith Queen Candy."

At this, a lovely woman with wavy crimson hair and bright green eyes turned to face them with a warm smile. She had a half-asleep baby boy in her arms.

"Hello, little darling. Lovely to meet you." the Queen whispered, hoping not to wake the baby. "Come sit near the fire. It’s chilly outside. You must be cold?"
