Karoline felt a bit uncomfortable when every candy themed staff are monitoring her that way. But when she noticed that kind of grin, something’s just not quite right, especially when it seemed familiar, but shook it off and began her own intro “you may call me Karoline Oakwood, and I for on am from the Woodland Meadow, an all natural adventure game where gamers help out my critter friends and stop the cruel machinery from invading my humbled home” by the speaking of the word ‘friend’ Karoline looked around worriedly about her Teddiursa “wait- where’s Maple? He’s a Teddiursa and like a son to me, this small like a teddy bear (a Pokémon that is) where is he!?” she panicked

The false King felt his expression flickering into confusion. He should have been a bit more informed in the hand-held console games, but surely they were only a phase! People went to arcades for the experience! No no. These… Game Boys would never last. He was only vaguely familiar with Pokemon. ONE Pokemon. Pikachu. That was the one he knew. That was it.
“Teddi-what-now???”
Karoline Oakwood: frightened to serious when the false king doesn’t get how one of the modern Pokémon look like, so she described Maple to him “Teddiursa? the little bear Pokémon? he’s about this little, brown fur & has a crescent moon shape on it’s forehead?” so Karoline uses her Floral Medallion’s holographic imagery of what Maple the Teddiursa looks like, just in case nobody in Sugar Rush gets it

“Can’t thay I’m familiar, but-” he began, but buttoned his lips when the image popped into place.
Bushy brows furrowed in concentration, the King stooped in close to peer intently at the hologram. It didn’t look dangerous, but neither did Pac Man until you got in his eating path.
“Hmm… if your Game ith all about keeping the spread of new tech at bay, I’m sure ya know that ith a little con~CERNING that a new creature ith looseth in MY world, hoo! We’d betta find it before it wandersth onto the track and hasth a Game Over.” he offered, twirling his cane in one hand.
It was important to keep up a good rapport with the neighboring consoles. Less questions that way.
After the ‘show-and-tell’ scene of the events, she turned off her Medallion. Karoline’s a bit worried about what’ll happen to Maple, somewhere hidden maybe? or just hiding under her cloak? Either way, hopefully the little Teddiursa will be safe

One of the Twisted Taffy Knights bustled into the room carrying a map of the immediate area. It was a common Item in the shop and wouldn’t be missed if something happened to it.
“Hmm… Alright. You two take the track by the Ice Cream Mountains. Thee if you can find any footprintsth. Aaand you check the licorice field. The gobstopper maids can check the palace gardensth. Missth Karoline, you come with me and we’ll look ova by the stands for the audience.”
As Karoline Oakwood stands up and followed King Candy (or possibly Turbo), she wanted to say a word, but before she could… “huh?”
*sound of something ceramic literally breaks*

With a soft jingling of his belled shoes, Turbo King Candy stomped through the palace corridors towards the sound. Hopefully, it was something simple that was broken. A toss-away trinket that he wouldn’t have to code into a respawn. One of the ugly statues given to him by Princess Peach would be fine to lose.
“Come along! Come along! Gotta find the little...” he forced a smile. “Annnngel, ahehooo!”

ANY PEEVES?: I get a little disheartened when I’m overloaded with RP threads and people send annoyed messages demanding to know when I’ll continue. Problem is, I feel like it’s usually up to me to set the scene in almost every thread I do, so it can be a little draining to have to put out a ton of effort into what is going on, with little to no input on what direction it’s going. So sometimes I like to take breaks and just RP silly little things, or even just set my Muses on each other so I can feel like there’s no pressure for a change.
UNPOPULAR OPINION: I don’t particularly like that people try to dictate my character’s feelings because “tumblr is for shipping!”. But it’s happened with a fair few Muses. I like the idea that if characters have feelings for each other it can bloom naturally, but so many people just demand shipping that it can be really grating.

So the other day I was doodling in my sketchbook, and I drew this cool squirrel made of fog. Except I didn't feel like drawing legs, so I just gave it wheels, y'know, as you do. But then I got to thinking "I didn't feel like drawing legs so I gave it wheels" sounds like an amazing concept for a racing game.
“If ya have wheelsth, might ath well raceth! Show me your picture if ya have it handy!” the King prompted brightly.
