Godling the MatchMaker #1

The sky was velvet black, encrusted with the glittering jewels that were the stars shining above. The moon was full and clear, giving the world a harmless facsimile of light to lead the way. The night was perfect. Perfect for growing romance and bringing happiness to his friends.
Godling had thought over his choices very carefully. He’d met many people, but narrowing his list of friends down to single men who’d appreciate someone with the wild energy and lanky nonchalance of Gold was quite the task. Gold was wonderful, handsome, exciting and smart in his own quirky way. Godling was determined to find him someone perfect. Someone who’d give him the sweet happiness and security that he had with Kura.
He’d start with a Bakura, of course. Bakura’s were the best people and Gold deserved the best. Someone fun loving. Someone kind and understanding. Someone that enjoyed a little excitement and wouldn’t be too quick to judge. Someone who would understand Gold’s unique existence as a man who was never born, like Godling. Someone who could offer Gold new exciting experiences and offer him safety.
And now he had his friend ready, already lounging uneasily on the picnic blanket Godling had set out for them, waiting to meet this mysterious stranger the god had rabbited on about. Used to cooler temperatures, he’d forgone his usual coat and stripped to a singlet, along with his fine boots and trousers of course. His silver hair in a low ponytail and a beautiful gem in the bracelet on his wrist. And his enormous black dragon sitting contentedly at his side, glowing flame on his tail tip providing more heat
And Godling was at Gold’s side in the space of a single soft breath.
“Gold. Are you ready to go?” He questioned, unable to keep the hopeful smile from his face. “I’ve prepared a picnic .. and brought a friend for you to meet.” He held out his hand, ready to take Gold back to that nighttime picnic on a hilltop where his possible true love awaited.
