[[I remember TKR being old as fuck. what do you mean the bio says he's THIRTY]]
Me: Doctor, did you find out what causes my blackouts and episodes of homicidal rage?
Doctor: I did some tests per your request and I still think it's the cursed amulet.
Me: Hold on, I need to consult my loved ones.
Cursed Amulet: *garbled echoes of impossibility ancient massacres*
Me: We want a second opinion.

Museum security guard 1: Wait, did you hear something?
Museum security guard 2: Yeah, I think it came from the gift shop.
Me, who broke into the museum and had already stolen dozens of priceless artifacts but decided to stop by the gift shop to score a snow globe:
This is oddly specific.
Behold the molten rivers running through my beloved hometown. You who seek the Golden Items, follow its path through hell in search of the key. As you travel down it, you will see a king, No longer an emperor slaughtered for his power, Not betrayed in the Ides, but still haughty and blaise. In my family’s crypt, you must break the unbreakable. This is the secret kept for a thousand years and more. The one who obtains the key must then acquire the Golden Items in accordance with these rules. On the first twilight, name the lineage that sell their games. On the second twilight, the king will scar a family tree. On the third twilight, no one alive can win. On the fourth twilight, gouge the leg and kill. On the fifth twilight, gouge the eye and kill. On the sixth twilight, gouge the neck and kill. On the seventh twilight, gouge the name and kill. On the eighth twilight, gouge the intestines and kill. On the ninth twilight, the Ultimate power shall revive, and none shall be left alive. On the tenth twilight, at journey's end, you shall attain the power of the seven Golden Items by entering their world. The pharaoh’s power can only be seized by removing their heads and discarding the bodies. LWCNVHYMMMFMXOVBBTM Sleep peacefully, my eternal dark god.

This is, as always, a shadow game.

nice things will happen but first you have to lose all hope and die 45 times
i think its funny how facial scars are seen as like a major character plot point where they reveal that someone tried to kill their dad or something when i know a ton of ppl (including myself) who have facial scars bc they rlly arent uncommon and all of them are like. from tripping and falling as a toddler
i could use this post as an oppritunity to talk about how scarring is a natural and human thing and everyone has scars, and larger scars as well as facial ones and burn scars should’nt only exist in media as a storytelling device but im also gonna just say that your oc is still hot as hell if he has a massive slash going through his eye i just think it would be funnier if he got it from falling down the stairs and then picking the scab too many times
strangles you with the red thread tying us together
yeah im over it *dies one thousand deaths*
"My universe is unlucky." He offered. "It just inspires failure. Everything's been better for me since I left it. Your universe is good, I think. You have a lot of chances. You haven't completed you mission yet but you will."

i am distantly sad about takahashi but this month, i don't want to get into it, but mom medical stuff bad news, and i think my grief requirements are just way higher than normal. i do not have the capacity to be sad right now, because if I was sad about this I would be much sadder about my mom, and I am just trying to get through each day.
[Family medical stuff so I probably won’t be active on here for another week or two]
[i haven’t been on this week because of unknown reasons. i will return unexpectedly as well]

The Thief couldn’t help bursting into loud barking laughter. The hypocrisy of it all. The jibes Atem thought could hurt him, as if Atem knew anything about him. As if the pharaoh had no choice! As if he cared about fairness. Ridiculous!
“Is that so!” he observed, watching Atem walk away. “Well, goodbye, Mr. King.” He leaned to the side with his hand on his chin, cartoonishly interested. He wondered just how long it would take Atem to realize whose turf he was in.
Either Atem had a secret criminal life in the outskirts of town, or he was deeply lost, and either one would behoove Bakura to stick around to witness.
It wasn’t that he was lost per se. It’s just that Google maps hated this part of town. So the traitorous app had him going in circles. It was hard to storm off when three minutes later you were right back where you started. And HE was still there, staring smugly, waiting. Atem wanted to punch him in his face, but…That would do no good. Once he had rounded a corner only to see Bakura for the third time, Atem swore a rather creative streak of curses in both Japanese and Egyptian. Why was it so damn hard to get away from this man. “Don’t you have anything better to do with your life than sit around here and watch me walk in circles?” Atem snapped.Â
Bakura was surprised to see Atem walk away with confidence the first time. Then amused the second time. Seeing him round back a third time made him laugh loudly. If he didn’t know better, he would think Atem was cursed.
“This is a shadow game,” he lied out of sheer curiosity to see if Atem would believe it. He had sat down now, watching Atem with crossed arms and a grin. “You think you’re in a normal city, but you’re trapped in the recesses of My soul, made to look like exactly like the modern world I’ve been forced into. Think you can get out in time?”
If Atem took it as a joke, it was hilarious. If he didn’t, it would be the most goddamn fun Bakura’d had in years.
