Okay but Simon spending a lot of time around the institute and seeing Lydia overwork herself because she blames herself for the Mortal Cup being gone and just being the guy who makes sure she rests and takes care of herself. He tries to help her relax more and shows her around New York they even see a few movies. She gets him to open up about how the Shadow World still feels so new and how he felt like he was losing Clary at first, how he misses his family, and even his feelings for Raphael

Ok but have you ever thought of a Simon/Lydia friendship forming after season 1?

i’m gonna be real honest, my main focus for lydia friendship is alec, but i’m down for honestly anything. give me a massive lump of friends. give me simon getting shit from alec and turning around and suddenly also getting shit from lydia. this is how they make friends.

I thought Simon seeing Clary instead of Maureen was an hallucination because of the vamp blood

see i don’t know what it was! i thought it was because of glasses + sleepiness, and my twin thought it was because of just the drowsy-just-woken-up thing that clary also had with simon/jace. either way, it read really weird to me and i think they could have done it a different way that was clearer (and also less ???? if people read it the way i read it)
