Hiding only what the darkest imagination can fathom

Allowing for only outlines to be seen following you in the background

Drowning in darkness as black as soiled ink

Over flowing with demons and monsters

Willing to pull you down into the depths of their lairs

Look for a way out in every direction

Ignore the path right in front of you

Grab hold of anything to get away

Hands of the fallen slide through yours other lost souls

Take a chance and run for the sun in the looming distance

Seemingly a trick the shadows have you
