Hey im a HUGE Halo nerd (SPARTAN expert/armor builder, pro grade) I just wanna say i really enjoy your page and you post GREAT stuff. I love the SPARTANS and the class of 25 has always been inspiring to me, and i love the relations among them, Blue Team especially. I love the IIIs and IVs just as much though. Anyway idk what im tryin to say..... You seem really cool so if you ever wanna talk about Halo or have any Halo Ws, or wanna hit up online Halo 4 for matchmaking or Spartan Ops hmu :)
Hi there! Always nice to touch base with a fellow Halo fan - particularly one who loves the Spartan-IIs of Blue Team too.
It’s interesting to think about the variations between the different classes of Spartans…The S-IIs were given the best of everything; years of top notch training, education, medical care, and equipment. It was sort of a “spared no expense” method, if you will. Whereas the S-IIIs got almost the opposite on all counts; they were made to be quick, cheap, and disposable. In fact, I feel like the Spartan-III Program gets overlooked a little too often when people start discussing the ethical dilemmas surrounding the SPARTAN Programs. Kurt-051 and Chief Mendez did what they could, but in the end they couldn’t really fight the rather heartless system that Col. Ackerson had devised. And then you have the new S-IVs, which seem to fall somewhere in between the ideals of the previous classes (though thankfully this new system does not require the recruits to be children)…For me though, my favorites will always be the Spartan-IIs. Their skills, dedication, and decorum sets the standard by which I rate all other members of the subsequent classes of Spartans.
Anyway, thanks very much for your comments and compliments! However if there’s one thing I can assure you, it’s that I’m certainly not cool. XD I’m glad you like the blog so far though, and hopefully I’ll continue to post content that’s agreeable to you and anyone else who stops by.
