A bit of a spin off of the Hurt Incantation from Tangled the Series

Garrosh discovers an old Shadow Priest Temple while the Alliance were hot on their trail

The Horde searches for the Greater Pain prayer, unlike the counterpart Greater Heal, cause death and pain by mere invocation of the prayer, harming and if too long killing everything around the invoker, be it friend or foe

Anduin accidentally found the temple as well but through a secret tunnel he discovered in Velen’s home

Anduin was the first to find the Greater Pain prayer and says it out loud before could stop him

It caused a power from the Void that hurt everyone around him and cause everyone unable to breathe without feeling

Begging for Anduin to stop, Anduin is unable to as the prayer has taken over him and slowly corrupts him

His hair turns a dark purple while his eyes are full blue as the purple corruption makes its was to his legs as he chants the prayer

Jaina is forced to use a water elemental to wake him up before anyone died from the prayer

He faints after being freed from the prayer as the wheezing members of the Horde call for a retreat

Anduin awakes back at Stormwind as Velen explains to him the danger of the Greater Pain prayer and how remnants of the corruption were still there, slowly fading from his body

Velen promises to heal Anduin as Anduin promises to never use that prayer again

Thus, Shadowreaper Anduin is born but only in glimpse and blurs, staying hidden under the radar of all, even Anduin, waiting for the day Anduin invokes the Greater Pain Prayer

When the Naga arrived and Anduin was forced to invoke the Greater Pain Prayer by threat of killing ever one he loved, Shadowreaper Anduin took over his body and tried to murder everything and everyone in his path, only being stopped by Velen, who reached Anduin

Over time with the two sides are forced to come into an agreement of needed each other, like their fathers, Lo’Gosh and Varian. Anduin would heal and help his kingdom acting as a diplomate, while Shadowreaper Anduin defends and leads the armies, acting as a warrior
