@delsomebody Alastair “Al” Frye is the middle-aged troll who runs the junkyard where my dwarf girl likes to camp out in her car. he basically lets her stay there and operate her electronic/vehicle repair business in exchange for technical help and a cut of her profits

EDIT: ok he has horns now WHEW extra info just because: he’s a failed artist and sometimes tinkers around and makes things out of random stuff he gets in at like 3AM when the mood strikes (yeah he’s basically dean from the iron giant except a grouchy old troll). he’s kinda-dating-but-not-officially a cyclops barrens matriarch. he and newt end up having a father-daughter type relationship, as she lost her dad young and he never had kids. newt’s reserved nature doesn’t overwhelm him, and he somewhat begrudgingly admires her skill with machinery.
