Shadowrun - Ork War (and Bonus Vakero)

Played thru the Shadowrun trilogy the past couple of weeks (finally finished all of them so now I can get on with my life lol). Played War for Shadowrun Hong Kong. Moody Monk Adept. He works very well as an ork, tbh.

Plus Vakero saying a very Vakero line from Shadowrun returns, getting caught after dressing as a maintenance man and stealing some shit from a corporate office.

Shadowrun Trilogy for FREE

For anyone interested, GOG is giving away the Shadowrun trilogy for FREE until June 28, 1pm UTC.

These are some of my favorite games, I love the cyberpunk setting with magic and fantasy thrown in. Do you like turn-based tactics? Do you like skill checks that unlock different conversation options? They’re all there.

Some warnings and disclaimers: Despite being marketed as a trilogy, each game is stand-alone and has a completely different cast and city. They don’t need to be played in order.

I also would NOT bother with playing the first game (Shadowrun Returns) as it’s the weakest in terms of gameplay and storyline.

IMO, Hong Kong is better than Dragonfall in terms of writing and gameplay, but they’re both worth playing.

Last: no promises, but hot dang if anyone wants to yell with me about this tiny fandom, especially to yell about femslash and/or the Big Dudes of this fandom...well. I’ve been looking for excuses to write more Shadowrun fic. :’)
