Shadows of Doubt is almost a masterpiece but after 37 fucking hours with it across multiple computers, it still consistently throws bizarre bugs, insane performance issues, indefensible UI choices, and it's 50% me being Bad at the Game but there is a difference between bad at a game and seeing what needs to be done to improve and being bad at handling the problems the game has inherently. i WANT it to be one of my favorite games, a goal that is consistently thwarted every time i actually sit down to play
