I’m willing to give some grace to Sandfall for experimenting with genAI when it first became widely available and then stopping when they realized it’s dogshit. I did too! I generated some dogshit self portraits and funny meme pics.

Unlike Swen at Larian who somehow wants to keep using it despite acknowledging it didn’t speed up fucking anything.

This ties back into my belief that you should let people learn and grow from their mistakes. Sandfall have made it clear that they fucked up and haven’t used genAI since.

Just wanna make a quick PSA: Adobe updated their TOS to include that anything uploaded to the Creative Cloud can be used to train their AI models, but they cannot claim ownership over your content whether it's on the cloud or saved locally on your computer. There's a very popular Tweet being shared by Twitter user Grummz that slightly misrepresents this.
