I am begging, pleading even, for some of y'all to learn what "media illiterate" actually means.

Art is subjective. A viewer can have a full understanding of the narrative and still personally dislike it. That doesn't make them "media illiterate". On the other hand, a viewer might have zero grasp on media literacy and throughly enjoy themselves, and that's 100% okay. Media can be loved, hated, praised, critiqued, and dragged for filth. But saying "you don't like my favorite piece of media, therefore you're too stupid to understand it" is not only juvenile, but it makes no sense.

Comprehension ≠ personal taste. That's actually Media Literacy 101.

heres to a show that has shaped me and pulled me out of the dark countless times, again and again.

this fandom has been rocky for sure, but its so rich in talented artists, and creatives, and diehard fans.

i don't know what i'll do when the smoke clears, and we have to let this show find its place among others who have finished their course.
