It was a peaceful day in the Alyndrah’s Garrison. The Iron and Fel Horde had been pushed back and either on the run or almost entirely destroyed. If anything, most of the Guards were nearly relaxed on this day. That was until a roar entered the air around the Garrison. Several guards stood upright, heads raised to the sky as several Gyro-Copters came into view. Confusion struck their faces as the motorized flying machines seemed to hover over the Garrison. Several of the Guards alerted General Alyndrah, trying to figure out if it was an attack or not. That was when the Copters seemed to part and the roar of Four Bombers was audible.
Sitting in the rear of one of the Copters was a Draenei with some form of stealth armor and a radio piece attached to his throat. He held some form of stringed instrument attached to loud speakers and with a large grin, started to play. The song roared out from the loud speakers along with his voice, actually causing many of the guards to bob their heads in approval from the song itself. Overhead the Bombers swung back around and started to do several rolls and turns, putting on an aerial show for the soldiers down below. Almost in time with the drums of the song were several “KRA-THOOM” sounds from off shore. As soon as the sound of cannons entered the Garrison, the guards trying to take cover, there were loud “BOOM” sounds from above as Fireworks lit off in the sky above.
Many of the Guards were stunned by the aerial display. Before long another form approaching and almost outrunning the Bombers, twin trails of white smoke jetting out from the back. It was a Rylak, an Iron Horde Rylak with the Engines strapped onto the sides of the beast. The Bombers parted and flew in formation with the Rylak, Following it in several banks, turns and rolls before they parted to let the Rylak “Buzz” the main HQ of the Garrison, fly up and then rocket towards the deck of the Garrison. As the Rylak rolled to make a straight ascent, it was revealed who the rider was. With a Leather Jacket, Horde Naval Captain’s Hat, and a grin was Rasmot with Katrina jumping off and landing on the ground as Rasmot rocketed back up skywards. Katrina let out a piercing Howl as Rasmot parted from the Rylak, sky-diving as the Rylak went back towards the shore. As the song was finishing and he reached the halfway point between the sky and Ground, Rasmot pulled the parachute cord and started to slowly and softly fall to the ground. The song finished with a loud crescendo of cannon fire and fireworks, Rasmot pulling off the parachute with the yank of another cord and landing with his feet first and hands nearly slapping the ground before rising up.
Rasmot stood upright and tipped his hat at Alyndrah. “Happy Winter’s Veil, General Alyndrah.”
Alyndrah ran out from her town hall, armor on and shield and axe in hand. A look of anger on her face that formed about the same moment the garrison guards told her that they were “maybe being attacked”. When the music began playing, her shield and axe dropped, hanging loosely as she looked up with a dumbstruck expression. Her ears lowered as the loud cannons began to sound, and she watched as some of her peons ran to hide under whatever they could find.
Glowing green eyes watched as the Rylak soared through the air, before diving towards where she stood. Looking up, a faint smile formed on her lips. When Katrina landed, and Rasmot had nearly landed with his parachute, her smile brightened. Once the other commander had landed and said his greetings, she let her axe and shield drop before she threw her arms around Rasmot, despite her plate armor. When her garrison had seen her actions, the entire garrison visibly relaxed.
When Alyndrah pulled back, she lightly shoved him. “You know I have a front gate, right?” She put her hands on her hips, her grin not vanishing from her face. “But thank you. That was amazing, and I’m sure my men and women enjoyed the entertainment.” she let herself chuckle softly.
