shadowstitched replied to your post: Misconception : Temari is uncaring.
TEMARI JUST HIDES HER EMOTIONS BECAUSE SHES HAS TO BE STRONG FOR HER BROTHERS BECAUSE SHIKADAI’S UNCLES ARE BIGGER CRYBABY’S
&& Here you have it guys, Temari’s bby will call EVERYONE a crybaby *wipes away proud tear*

“I should’ve seen this coming, and yet..”
Continued from here // @shadowstitched
Swift-footed the sand shinobi jumped into action, her hands moving from memory summoning her fan from the scroll she ALWAYS carried upon her back. Weapon ready, Temari secured the civilians, the floor shaking && cracking beneath her feet. Everything was crumbling around her, dust, clouding the air adding to the confusion. But she was from the desert, from Suna, a little bit of dust was nothing. Her heart weighed against her, chest, like lead, the normal frantic adrenaline filled beat missing.
Swallowing her worries, her emotions, teal eyes remained focused, narrowing on her target. Shikadai. A couple of swift jumps, && Temari situated herself before him, her back to her son, fan gripped hands ready. “I don’t know.” She kept her voice cold, - calm despite the worry she felt.
Shikamaru && her brothers could handle themselves, she had to believe that they could, because if anything happened to them now, Temari wasn’t sure how she’d keep going. “focus Shikadai.” Briefly, her gaze flicked back to him, Teal eyes meeting his. “I won’t let anything happen to you, okay, but I NEED you to stay calm.” She hadn’t seen Shikamaru since the fight had started, her hands full with protecting the civilians, but she couldn’t think about that now, not when their son was still in danger.

Glad you noticed the change in your vocab. I’m more AMAZING than my dad, ya bum.
|| 「 I find that answer really cute~」
“ what did you just say? “
|| 「 That you’re not as good as your father.」
the boy just sits and stares at his mom for minutes on end. his games had been taken away and he was getting bored. why not annoy his mom by just staring at her? " ..."
❝ if you have time to stare then you can get to doing your chores , shikadai. ❞ she knows all the games before he plays them , call it a motherly instinct. while very intelligent ( just like his father ) he still plays all the tricks and tests the limits , just like a child ; somehow a part of it’s still endearing to her. a small smile breaks through the cracks of authority , but fades as he continues to gawk , a hand now propped on her hip. ❝ that’s not the way to get me to budge —— ❞ temari pauses , subsequently walking past him as she gives his head a quick , affectionate ruffle.
❝ come now , lets go feed the deer together before your father gets back. ❞
@shadowstitched look at the progress i’ve made with our thread. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ aren’t you proud of me?
