Every time I come back I feel like it’s my absolute honour to be there, to have had this experience, to carry my experiences of the Festival with me through the world. It’s what we’re asked to do as seniors on the last day. I’d like to think I have contributed to that. It is a brilliant programme, and it’s the reason why I have seen most of Shakespeare’s plays, but mostly I come back to be a part of the support system that was there for me for the three years I was a participant. 📚This year was insane for me. I got back from Italy the day before the Festival began.
