I think these descriptions from Laurie Davidson himself in an interview about Will is just perfect.
Will wants to be free like Kit, how he could just do whatever he wants in the world without a care. And Kit wants to be innocent again like Will because he's been jaded in the industry and he's a man haunted by his own inner demons.
They were always connected. They were two sides of the same coin. You could never deny that they were literally made for each other, if not to be each other.
Their troubled relationships, their hallucinations, them basically being spies of some sort, having to cover up something important from their life so that they don't lose someone they love.. The amount of parallels these two have can basically just sum it up.
Sure, it might be a reach, but god these two have something that could've been explored more in the second season if it didn't get cancelled.

The leopard and mooncalf are a little scrunkly, but I think it adds charm
This play has my head and my heart in its teeth and won’t be letting go anytime soon
It's been so busy that I missed posting about the 3 stories added to my author website this week!
First, there's my story "With Wand'ring Steps and Slow" in Best Women's Erotica of the Year, Volume 10. What better vehicle than Biblical erotic fanfiction (with bonus Milton references) to further my nonpenetrative, non-procreative-sex agenda?
Second, my novella published by Harlequin's Carina Press imprint, Gardens Where No One Can See. This is an M/M fantasy romance with hurt/comfort, erotic exploration, and as much of an open relationship as Harlequin would let me get away with.
Third, "Draft," my William Shakespeare x Christoper Marlowe story in the Cunning Linguists anthology I edited from the @newsmutproject.
Insofar as there's an organizing theme to these stories, I guess it's "literary tribute/fanfiction and/or scenes of loving and sensual sex in the outdoors." In any event, I enjoyed writing each of them and I hope readers enjoy reading them!
