Today, like many others lately had been filled with pure boredom. She still hadn't received a case and the whole matter was started to annoy her. She kept trying to convince herself that it wouldn't last for long. This didn't stop the boredom though.

She sighed as she grabbed her jacket. Zipping it up as she got into a taxi. She murmured the name of bar to him, an all to familiar process. It may not be the most interesting thing to do, but it was something. And anything to get her out of the flat was better than nothing.

Once the taxi had arrived, she shoved a few notes into the driver's hands. Telling him to keep the change as she got out. Once she was inside, she sat on a old , leather stool. Then ordered her usual drink and started to slip it slowly. After a few minutes had passed, her eyes wandered over to someone who had just arrived. She wasn't sure if she had seen him before, but he looked quite familiar. She was certain that she had never spoke to him before though. Hoping he didn't notice her staring, she looked down at her drink.
