Building A Bargain Gaming PC In 2018 Fractal Define C TG Edition
Is it possible?
I saved a LOT of money building this Ryzen 1700 based PC.
In the video I will discuss easy ways to get components at bargain basement prices!
This PC cost nearly half the current retail prices.
Most of the parts have been sourced easily from local Facebook groups, Amazon Warehouse Deals, Ebay and other outlets.
The way I went about this build was to try and make it look as pretty as possible but with a close eye on a budget.
Some of the initial purchases paved the way for others, such as the Fractal Define C TG really needs a full size ATX motherboard installed or there is a lot of bare metal showing.
So I searched Amazon Warehouse deals for a good B350 board, and found the ASUS X370 Pro for a big discount, and was nearly the same price as a good B350 so that was going to be the winner.
I got some really good deals locally on the Facebook Bristol PC Gamers group.
The RAM was a fantastic deal! 32GB DDR4 cost me £140 which is roughly what you would pay for 16GB now, and 8GB not so long ago.
As the PC would be used for gaming and video editing the extra RAM should really help.
And to power all this the Ryzen 1700 and RGB wraith cooler sits pretty in the middle.
I wanted a black and white build and was planning to add a touch of pink, so the wraith cooler was the perfect solution, and again I got a bargain for just £100!
I really have enjoyed finding the parts and building this upgrade for my Wife, she hasn't been well for a while and I thought this might cheer her up a little.
The build was made a lot easier by the choice of case, the Fractal Define C is a fantastic case to work with and I can't wait to try the meshify in the future.
I hope this video will encourage you to look for your own bargains and if I can help you in any way let me know.
