     It wasn’t like Ocelot to not only question a decision on his part but to rub salt in the wound of the failure of the said decision, though Venom hardly put any blame on Ocelot. It was indeed his fault, a miscalculation, that not only did he fail to retrieve the prisoner they were hired to extract but had wound up getting them killed. 

     Still, to have him address him like that was almost unacceptable and his gaze turned cold as he stared down Ocelot with a biting tone to follow. “Be that as it may, I don’t need the third-degree Ocelot. Remember your place.”

After watching his routine he gives his approval by ruffling his hair. “You’d make a captivating entertainer.” He teases, patting him firmly on the shoulder. “I could use some entertainment tonight.” His tone was laced with suggestion as he started to pull away. “Come by my office when you have the time.” For now he had work to finish.

He let out a long, slow breath and stretched out beside Adam, pulling him onto his chest to give him a softer surface to lay on. “The whole night.” He promises, tucking one arm behind his head and wrapping the other around his small lover.

Volgin hangs in the doorway until he sees who had come calling on him. He left the door hanging open for Adam to come in and sauntered over to pour himself a drink. “Close the door behind you.” If Ocelot has a message for him he expects him to come out with it without prompting. He gestured with the bottle in silent query if he should be pouring more.
