I’ve learned to stop posting about the things I enjoy or world building for my characters to people. I don’t feel like anyone has an interest in the things I come up with. Even my friends. I get the minimum acknowledgment before they start talking about their own muses or change the topic entirely. Why ask me about my oc if you don’t really care? This site used to be so supportive and encouraging of other people’s work, now the support only comes if you are popular or there’s gain from it.

i  don’t  know  who  else  needs  to  see  this  today,   but  you  don’t  have  to  play  a  canon  perfectly  by  canon.   no  such  thing  exists,  you  can  take  pieces,  you  can  take  most  of  it –    but  in  the  end  it’s  your  interpretation.  you  liked  a  character  and  you  wanted  that  character  to  represent  something  for  you  and  you  only.    those  who  understand  are  the  people  that  matter  most.
