Drew Miller played for my alma mater, Michigan State, and for my Red Wings :)
Better not be thinking of making Braehead your British team though haha! Scotland's a bit far to just pop up for a game :D

Nooooo! >.< Doug needs to find us one D:
Suprised you haven't got one tbh. I reckon he'll be after one now though, and I'm sure a few would be more than willing to go there just to go sightseeing around Ireland haha!

I’m super excited to see him play on Friday but I am still worried about the fact Clan have a defense that is leaking goals!
Haha well we couldn't beat you but yeh that seems to be your weakest area. I'm really jealous though, we don't play you at home until 15th December so I hope he's still around by then so I can watch him play :)

braehead really need to shore up their D more than anything. They always seem to have a really stacked first line and no depth.
Yeh that's their weak point but it's still pretty exciting for their fans :)
shamazipan replied to your link: Cardiff Devils new signing
Looks a great signing! Some of my favourite Clan players played for Hershey in the past (Bruce Richardson, Krestanovich, Wedderburn). Is it September yet?
Haha I know, it's seems ages away! Oh and I love Krestanovich, wouldn't mind him in Cardiff :)

I think that goal will light a wee fire under them. My fingernails are going to be bitten to death by the end of this series.
it best, they really need a push for this one! i know, i know, i'm going to have a heart attack. it's inevitable.

The new system isnt getting much love in Nottingham either. Its purely a financial move and the sports going to suffer. I’d love to see the cap closed between all teams where it comes to performance. But this isnt it.
I agree. Look how harsh it is on Hull. It's meant to save travel costs but they're much closer to Sheffield, Nottingham and even Coventry than any of the Scottish teams and those 3 also bring more away fans so more revenue for them.

I’m not keen on it either though it really doesnt make a huge difference - all the teams still play each other. My worry is that Braehead are stuck the weaker teams that are less interesting to watch for more games = smaller attendances.
It'll be interesting to see how it effects Braehead tbh. Could be that because you now have a really good chance for the league the attendances could increase or like you said they might drop because you have fewer interesting games to watch. Paul Ragan (our owner) thinks that because Cardiff are in the conference with most of the stronger teams that more fans will turn up to see the exciting games but if we're losing to them every week I guarantee the crowds will drop because we've got a lot of fair weather fans in Cardiff.
