Is anybody shampoo free? I think I'm going to go that route. I've been researching different methods and will buy supplies after work. Let me know if you have an tips, suggestions, or stories you'd like to share.

I’m also trying the just water “no poo” method for washing my hair.
Day 0
For years and years I’ve been considering joining the (lovingly named) No ‘poo Movement, but have always found an excuse not to, or chickened out. But I’ve finally decided to just crack down and get on with it.
And I’m going to document my experience here.
So this evening is the first time I’ve washed my hair without shampoo. Hopefully it won’t be the last.
So o thought I'd start on the hole no shampoo thing tonight by just washing my hair with water. It was slightly oily to begin with so I figured it could only get better. I was wrong. Somehow it came out 100% oilier. I didn't put conditioner or anything in it! I don't know anymore.
I tried washing my hair without shampoo or conditioner earlier, I’m not sure about the results. My hair looks reasonable, quite soft and shiny, but it does still feel greasy, and it’s bugging me. Next wash I will try out a mixture of baking powder and green tea, conditioned with a little apple cider vinegar.
I’m sure I can get the hang of this ‘no-poo’ thing... and I’m sure my aged, weather-damaged hair will thank me for it.
April 12th. Haven't updated in a looooong time bc of sicknesses and such. Hair is great! This is right after drying from a shower. Kinda wavy bc it was up in a bun. Volume galore.
Day 1!
Here embarks the journey of my idea to try going shampoo free.
My plan is to start with baking soda and vinegar and then move to completely nothing (aka, just water).
Today was day 1. It was weird to not shampoo my hair, and the baking soda was very slimey. The vinegar smelled weird and I'm unsure of how I feel about the whole ordeal.
Combed out my hair with a wide toothed comb (I usually don't ever brush my hair so this is new), and it was not too tangled. We will see how it dries.
