Quando la cosa che viene costruita è intelligenza pura, l’oggetto che la costruisce può mettersi al lavoro al fine di migliorare sé stesso.

(*) ingegnerizzare: "stabilire, programmando la produzione, metodi e processi con cui trasformare materie prime in prodotti finiti", lo definisce il De Mauro online e ne indica il primo uso nel 1989. Io trovo (*) ingegnerizzato già nel nel mensile MC Microcomputer del 19 maggio 1983 [voglio dire: è presente da abbastanza tempo nel vocabolario (non solo informatico) d'uso da poterlo utilizzare in questa traduzione].
