(here's a rough map of the Bay of Belek, enjoy!)
Pronouns! We already know Sha, the word meaning I or me. But what are the other pronouns in Shandafi?
diija /deːja/ and diinu /deːno/ - "this person" and "that person" respectively. These are used instead of the third person pronouns he, she, and they (singular). You generally use diija for nearby people, or ones you can see, and diinu for further people, or ones who are out of sight.
sija /sija/ and sinu /sino/ - "this thing" and "that thing" respectively. These that the place of the word it, and also this and that. It's kinda rude to use these for people.
To make plurals, add the suffix -nda /ⁿda/. This can be done with any word, but its only mandatory for pronouns. This gives us shanda, manda, diijanda, diinunda, sijanda, and sinunda.
Shandafi /ʂaⁿdafi/ - The name of the language Ndiri and her people speak. The -fi suffix means language, so all together, it means "our language".
"saasisaa mbuzunu, gamisi shashunu nuzanii gamisi. Kujisaa, guzana fuzhu gidi-gidi ndizanii. bu kii gamisi kujisaa, bu diinunda dambii." - Ndiri
/saːsisaː ᵐbuzono gamese ʂaʂuno nozaneː gamesi. kujisaː gozana fuʐo gedegede ⁿdizaneː. bo kiː gamesi kujisaː bo deːnoⁿda daᵐbiː/
"In the land across the sea, my siblings fight themselves. Here, so much fruit pops up from the ground! If my siblings were here, they would be happy." - Ndiri
(Bolded words in the quote are ones you can figure out from this and the previous posts!)
