Why yes, yes, I do though I'm guessing it's the MK9 verse and not either of the two film verses. If you did mean one of the film verses...then go ahead and put it in the ask box. Now, without further ado...let's get into it.

Kryp did not mean to become a Kombatant. Really, he didn't.

He was just minding his own business when bam, he was knocked into the arena by...someone, he still doesn't know who.

He fought against some nameless outworlder.

Yes, he won thanks to his family's fighting style that was passed down from generation to generation.

This means that he caught Shang's Tsung's eye.

When Shang Tsung approached him, it was...interesting to say the least.

He was complimenting the fighting style.

Note that Tsung is still in his old man midlife crisis for the hundredth time.

Tsung even gifted Kryp a pendent that he ends up figuring out is a treasure detector and he's able to find koins as well as gems and the like.

Shang Tsung loves to mess with Kryp via his magic. He subtly moves whatever Kryp's reaching for just to get the man to lean down juuuust a little more for...practical reasons mind you.

The first time Kryp see Shang Tsung's younger form...he defiantly had a gay panic attack and spent some time after to come to terms that he does find Shang Tsung hot.

When lounging, Shang Tsung likes to have Kryp in his lap or right next to him, leaning on him.

Kryp surprisingly does not seem to mind Shang Tsung's old man form as he likes to call it. He's never gonna do anything with said form but yeah, does not mind it.

First kiss is on Shang Tsung's throne.

Also, Shang Tsung likes to use his magic...but that is something for the Not Lifesaving Tag.

(Headcanon about krypt guy: Krypt Guys real name will be Apep but he usually goes by Kryp.)

Anyways...yeah I ship this...but to be fair, I've ship some other ships from other fandoms for less interactions.

But yeah, this is my new ship and I dived right into it when my mind supplied this ship to me.

Did you have a reincarnation idea for Shang/Kyrp because you mentioned it in your story?

Yes anon, I did. It was supposed to be a three-part one-shot.

Part 1 was the ancient China era.

Part 2 was supposed to take place in one of the Word Wars.

Part 3 would be modern day.

It was supposed to be in Shang Tsung's POV and touches upon him waiting hundreds if not thousands of years for Kryp to be reincarnated each time because in part 1 and 2, Kryp had died all too soon in battles and once he sees Kryp at Raiden's table, some inner thoughts happen or something and then it ends.

Pretty much it was just me gonna be angsty and writing about a mortal who won't die and his love who keeps dying.
