Shanks x Mihawk, 34

I have never written Shanks & Mihawk before this is going to be interesting. Thank you for the request nonnie!! ^w^ this one is kind of implied nsfw too augghh sorry!!

“If you keep looking at me like that we won’t make it to a bed.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you make it to the execution stand first.”

“Hawky,” Shanks complained, pouting, “you’re so mean!” 

Mihawk raised his eyebrow, giving Shanks a pointed stare, and turned his attention back to the newspaper. Shanks would preoccupy himself, as long as Mihawk ignored him-

Shanks decided the best thing he could do with his time was slid onto the table in front of Mihawk, knees creating twin indents in Mihawk’s paper.

“Must you?” Mihawk inquired coldly, and Shanks leaned forwards, grin sharp as he bent Mihawk’s paper.

“Well you can always help me occupy my time in some other fashion,” he said, and Mihawk felt the hint of a smile on the corner of his lips before he firmly told his mouth to stop misbehaving.

“But them I’d have to put down this article. And it’s very interesting.”

“I promise you,” Shanks said, and this time his look promised that they likely wouldn’t make it to a bed, “I’m ten times more interesting.” Shanks grinned, and then added, “And if not, well, you can make good on that execution stand. Should add a little danger, huh?”

Shanks/Mihawk, comparing sword sizes and stuff

"Of course mine is bigger than yours," Mihawk stated plainly.

"Are you sure? Don’t you want to compare?" Shanks smiled playfully.

"No," the stoic swordsman replied.

"Come on!" Shanks pleaded. "Pull it out and let’s see!" There was a pause. "...unless you’re too embarrassed."

"Embarrassed?" The sharp yellow eyes glared at the red haired man.

"Yeah, I mean, it’ll be pretty humiliating to find out yours isn’t as impressive as you think, right?" Shanks stood, reaching towards his belt. "So?"

Mihawk sighed, standing as well and pulling his large black blade from his back. “Fine.”

Shanks beamed and drew his sword from the sheath at his hip. Unfortunately for him, measured up against the black blade it fell short in length.

Mihawk snorted and put his sword away. “There, I hope your happy. Yours is shorter.”

Shanks looked mildly disappointed for a moment before sheathing his sword again and turning to his fellow swordsman.

"Oh well," he shrugged. "it’s not the length that matters anyway. It’s how you use it."
