Con Follow up
Undoubtedly one of the toughest things for me is to Follow up after a Con. Probably because once I get home I’m trying to get right back into Go Mode and keeping up/catching up on whatever I didn’t do because I was Conning... Maybe, from now on I will try and do it on Sunday night before I actually hit the homestead. Let me say that as a Show in general #BigWowComicfest is friggin amazing as a Comic Fan it’s one of the best shows in my circuit for attention to the medium. I know being a Media Guest myself it may seem a tad hypocritical to have such concerns, but I have been patronizing Con’s Way longer than I have been considered Guest material so, it’s a wonderful conundrum (or will be until I get one of the Many aforementioned Ideas to print). Big Wow Comicfest is big enough to have the Guest and panel roster you want. And small enough that you could actually catch most of the things on that list without doing yourself harm. I have befriended many artist and writers of funnybooks over the years and it is nice to add to the list in a atmosphere that encourages it. I want to thank Steve Wyatt and Steve Wozniak for Giving me the A-list treatment even though I consider myself Celebrity Adjacent. That personal title will change soon and I will always be grateful to those who saw where I was going ahead of the curve. One thing I love doing at Cons is being a Panelist and Our “Cultural Diversity in Popular Media Panel” was a nicely chaotic conversational mosey through the concerns and observations of; Shannon Eric Denton, David Williams, Jane Weidlin, Erik Larsen, Joyce Chin, JJ KIrby and myself. I don’t quite know if I should thank or be irritated at the lady who harshly berated us for not allowing one of our female panelist to speak... going so far as to speak Over said panelist when she was attempting to counterpoint the issuance. The fans as always were Amazing, super warm and fun to interact with. There were so many memorable moments but I must say running into a couple where the lady was a Huge Trubie (Trueblood fan) and the Gentleman a Hardcore Heister (Payday2) was Awesome! when their youngling gets a little older and starts watching Disney XD I will have done something for the whole family. I look forward to every opportunity I am presented with to Entertain and interact with those who share my passions. I shall endeavor to be more Forthcoming with my thoughts and observations moving forward... if of course there is an interest in the such.
Thank you for spending time with my thoughts...
