A straightforward beginning by Sean Follmer and Daniel Leithinger has led to a table that is out of this world. This was designed in the MIT Media Lab since the two are MIT PhD students who say that the pin screen toys inspired them. This table which is known as inFORM uses linkages, motors, and pins which lead to a dynamic shape display.
