Loving these photos from our FUNdraiser show by Alberto Sanchez AKA Bella Lugosy AKA AcidTones! Check him out on YouTube - he goes to tons of cool shows and documents them really well: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvLlYaXthO00WcE8yngf3pA
That’s a damn fine lineup and a chance to send one of San Diego’s finest back into the studio. So, you probably won’t be too shocked to hear that we think you should check it out. You can let your Facebook friends know you’re going by RSVPing here.
Thanks local cool dudes Owl and Bear for the love & support. We hope to see all of y’all at our FUNdraiser on April 2!!
Shaper Studios “Mistakes Garage T-Shirt”
This is a T-shirt that I designed for Shaper Studios when they branched out to Vancouver, Canada and my design was also printed on Stay Wild Magazine in the Shaper Studios spread announcing the opening of the Vancouver location.
Shaper Studios is the worlds first surfboard shaping DIY(do it yourself) workshop. They established themselves in the Forest Park area of San Diego, CA and have now branched out to two newer locations; one remaining in the Californian city of Orange County and the other in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They have made a great reputation within the surfing community by sanctioning surf competitions, remaining socially active in numerous surf events, and catering their knowledge to all surfers from beginners to professional surf athletes. I myself am a member and have included photos of my first and second self-shaped boards that I made at the San Diego Location.
Foam and Friends goes to Mexico
Ever wanted to shape your own board? Deep in California's surfboard haven of San Diego is a group of crafty artists who make great teachers, and even better friends, while doing what they love - shaping surfboards.
"Foam & Friends" is a series following the Shaper Studios team - a do-it-yourself format shaping bay with hands on instructed shaping lesssons.
