It was fantastic to see The Centre for Early Childhood’s Shaping Us Framework, which is based on key science, expressed in such an innovative, creative and fun way at the National Portrait Gallery today. The Bobeam Tree Trail is a brilliant example of how organisations can embrace the principles of social and emotional development, and the Centre’s framework, to engage children and families in their communities. I hope that many people will be able to enjoy it over the coming weeks! Thank you to the National Portrait Gallery and to the staff and pupils of All Souls CE Primary School for a brilliant day. NEW: The Princess of Wales has been visiting the @NPGLondon today with some four and five year olds for a project called The Bobeam Tree Trail, which is based on work by her Royal Foundation for Early Childhood -- Kate Mansey
Working with @earlychildhood to launch the new #ShapingUs framework. The Bobeam Tree Trail is just one example of how organisations can empower children to thrive emotionally and socially. With initiatives like this at the @NPGLondon, the foundation is laid for the next generation to grow into confident, compassionate individuals. The Centre for Early Childhood is also working with organisations across a variety of sectors, on how the framework can be used to promote social and emotional skills across society. -- The Prince and Princess of Wales
