I have said it before but me say it again.

If you get to sit on a throne because you were anointed by God, then it is only fair that you conduct yourself better than us mere mortals. That kind of birthright privilege comes with higher expectations, and why should it not?

Charles managed to rebrand adultery into a great love story. Now he wants to gaslight us into accepting a traitor as a rebranded prodigal son. I must have missed the part where this particular prodigal son showed any remorse, let alone repented.

I am not saying that Charles isn't allowed to make mistakes. However, Charles’ history isn't of human folly, but of willful deception and outright corruption. That will be his legacy.

I haven't seen any video but in the review I read, it sounds like an assistant brought Meghan her phone when Harry called.

I have seen the clip (X or SMM can't remember). It is all so painfully staged.

By it I mean every single second is staged to the point of being painful to watch. I do not remember the last time Meghan came across as this desperate to be likable on camera. It's almost like you can tell she had everything riding on this TV appearance being her last chance to save her TV career.

Eh, this is when William should impose himself. After all his own father set the precedent by ousting his mother’s secretary (?, the Geidt dude) when he didnt bend the knee and practically veto-ing her staff for the past 15 years. If anything the secretary of a king so old and sick should be a bridge and a facilitator, not a thorn in the back.

IMO will have to do SOMETHING much sooner rather than later, before Charles sinks the ship with his bullshit - which could happen sometime in September, judging by reports.

Charles may be aiming at reunion with Harry with his wife in tow. I believe he is removed from reality enough to contemplate this. But Harry has always been his own worst enemy. If he stayed quiet it could have worked. He didn't stop suing, boasting, complaining, giving interviews, drawing scandals etc. The point is Charles doesn't have time to rehabilitate Harry a la Camila. Simply dumping him on UK wouldn't work. And William has gained popularity since Harry's foray into independence. Charles has lost in popularity.

Working Harry against William could only do while Charles is the monarch. The moment William becomes King Harry becomes a liability harassing the Head of State.

This show will live as long as Charles.

Nah for whatever reason he is departing BP (either a sacrificing lamb or chuck agreeing with Harold to fire him) it’s only beneficial to the prodigal son.

And if that seat is indeed filled by someone pro Harkles, pro reconciliation, they will receive the security, more invitations to Balmoral, Christmas and happy family, rehabilitating their irrelevant brand and saving the woman beater (allegedly) ass once again

That is correct, he is/was BPs man on the committee. He is not leaving till next spring. I don’t know how close his departure is to IG.

If so, that's really sad because Clive was likely a main voice against the meeting. My guess is it's in protest because Clive sees where this is headed, sees he can't change his boss' mind, and finds that continued work environment untenable. Good time to Nope out, but I'm surprised they didn't hold this announcement until an August Friday to bury it. Seems very intentional to release it on a Monday.

I hate to say it but, maybe worse to come is imminent? Like Clive wants to make it abundantly clear there is a distinction in time and date where he does not want his name attached to what lies in the very near future. God help William. The fresh hell Charles 'bout to unleash might make us miss these halcyon days pre-FUBAR.

Hard to tell, but to me this sounds like a sacrificial lamb more than anything else. If you read Becky’s article there’s a petty dig against Clive and how despite his illustrious time at the Palace, he got plenty of things wrong.

If Sun = self, ego, identity and Jupiter = amplifier, then we could possibly see Meghan on an ego rampage. I believe she had 13 paid for articles about her in the Daily Mail today, which sounds like ego to me. I would think that she would be her normal self, ramped up to the nth degree, under this conjunction.

Sounds like she is mad that her Masterchef episode was a nothingburger. The Duchess only managed to bring in an additional 100K viewers and the show still landed in the 11th place in ratings, couldn't even crack into the Top 10.

I wonder if her bestie Gemma tuned in.
