there was a time where ahsoka followed rules. where she blindly followed the jedi, believing every code, and every word. but over time, that part of her had faded quickly. after she’d left the order, after she’d been on her own, trying to navigate a world after the clone wars, watching other systems rise in it’s place whenever there was a displacement of power, she’d learned pretty quickly to get involved. even when she was hiding out after the jedi purge, she hadn’t been able to keep herself away from the rebellion. if one thing had stuck with her, it was always helping others who needed help.
“you know, i’m kind of jealous of you sometimes.” ahsoka said with a smile, eyes looking out over the horizon, watching as other people walked and went about their lives. “getting to pilot all of the time? getting in on the action like that? i haven’t seen that kind of action in forever.” a pause, her walking a few steps and letting a soft laugh escape her lips. “back when i was younger, i was a glorified co-pilot for a bit. that or i got myself into missions i shouldn’t just so i had an excuse to get in on the action.” the smile faded a bit, her plagued with memories of the past. “it never gets boring up there in the stars, does it?” / @sharbey -
